REVEREND ELEANOR L. SCARLETT, Minister


MDIV Emmanuel College, University of Toronto, 1996, BA (Hons) York University 1983, Designated Interim Minister 2004. Certified Consultant 2020, Accredited Mediator 2021, Conflict Regulation Facilitator 2021. University of Waterloo.


Ordained by Toronto Conference June 2nd, 1996. Served the Maritime Conference, Toronto, London, and Hamilton. Recently Shining Waters Regional Council, now Horseshoes Falls Regional Council. A Board member of the Interim Ministry’s Network, served on conference Planning Teams, the Credentialing Committee of the National Church, Member of Shining Waters Social, Ecological and justice Commission.


Eleanor has served the church on the national, regional, and local levels. She was an active member of Sounding the Bamboo, a founding member and President of the Journeys of Black Peoples within the UCC. Member of Emanuel College society, Alumni, Co-Valedictorian.


She just completed four years at Bolton United in Shining Waters Regional Council now serving Sheridan United in Horseshoes Falls Regional Council as Intentional Interim Minister.


She is an avid reader who loves walking, travelling, cooking, spending time with family and friends and finding time and space to reconnect with self as well as with the divine.

AMBER MAILLOUX, Music Director


A classically trained pianist since the age of 5, Amber has accomplished much in the world of music.


Amber began by accompanying the Maple City Junior Strings Ensemble as a child, and went on to graduate from Wilfred Laurier University in 2017 with a degree in piano performance.


Today, Amber teaches, examines, and adjudicates piano at Merriam School of Music while continuing to share her musical skills with the Community of Faith at Sheridan United Church.
